Citizens Advisory Committee

About CAC   |   Agendas/Minutes   |   Archived Agendas/Minutes   |   Subscribe   |   Application

Caltrain, owned and operated by the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board, has a Citizens Advisory Committee to represent San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara counties. The CAC is composed of nine volunteer members who serve in an advisory capacity to the tri-county policy board, providing input on the needs of current and potential rail customers, and reviewing and commenting on staff proposals and actions as requested by the board.  The committee does not have independent duties or authority to take actions that will bind the Joint Powers Board of Directors.

Due to the COVID-19 public stay-at-home order, the CAC meetings will only be available via remote access. The public may participate remotely via each meeting’s unique Zoom weblink and audio number.

Unless otherwise noted, the CAC meets the third Wednesday of each month at 5:40 p.m. in the Edward J. Bacciocco Auditorium located on the second floor at Caltrain's Administrative Offices, 1250 San Carlos Ave., San Carlos.  The office is located two blocks west of the San Carlos Caltrain Station.  All meetings are open to the public.
