San Francisquito Creek Bridge Inspection
Background and Summary
Caltrain regularly monitors the condition of all track and structures as part of its ongoing efforts and commitment to ensure high-quality, safe, dependable, and reliable rail services.
As part of this regular monitoring, the agency is currently inspecting and assessing the San Francisquito Creek rail bridge in Palo Alto to determine and confirm the remaining service life for the bridge. This inspection will provide information for Caltrain to conduct a subsequent analysis of options that will focus on optimizing this important crossing for current and future riders and services.
